The heart-and-soul of the Flood Heliarc, Inc. network is a MacPro Tower running Mac OS 10.6 Server (Snow Leopard). It provides server solutions for DNS, SMB/AFP File Sharing, User Management & Print Sharing, as well as calendar and address book servers using CardDAV protocol.

In addition to organizing the FHI Network, the MacPro Server also runs Filemaker 10 Pro Advanced Server for the brand new Job Tracking Software (deploying in January 2010) and VMWare Fusion. The former will revolutionize production flow on the shop floor and organization in the office; the latter contains two virtual computers, each running Windows XP Pro with 2 GB DDR3 RAM (dedicated) and 100 GB of Hard Disk space.

Using Apple's included Time Machine software and off-site back-up, all data on the server is incredibly safe. Locally, Time Machine offers daily back-up for a week, weekly back-up for a month, and monthly back-up for year. Off-site, data is automatically transferred at the end of each business day.
