Sheetworks is the newest software addition to the FHI Engineering department - based off of SolidWorks, this application not only models parts in 3D, but it also takes 2D drawings and converts them to 3D images, as well as take a 3D drawing and create a flat pattern (2D).  Additionally, this product was created to work seamlessly with all the Amada products we currently utilize:  Amada FO-3015 4kw Laser, Amada FBD-1253NT, Dr. ABE Bend, Dr. ABE Blank and Amada's SDDJ Server.

By "seamlessly" we mean that all of our Amada products have been made to work hand-in-hand with each other; Sheetworks creates the parts or assemblies, identifying any design issues and attaching the appropriate material information to the drawing; The SDDJ Server stores the parts for shared access between all the Amada products; Dr. ABE Blank takes the part created in Sheetworks and nests it for our Amada Laser, optimizing material utilization; and Dr. ABE Bend creates the necessary program to bend simple and complex parts.
